After trying to make brownies, I think that I am capable of making snacks/ desserts that are more complicated to make. So I decided to make chocolate chip cookies (CLASSIC!!) My favorite type of chocolate chip cookies is the ones that have a crunchy crisp but soft and moist on the inside, it would even be better if the chocolate chips are half melted.
Recipe:
Here are the ingredients you need:
First, I poured all the two types of sugar, salt, and butter in and mix them until smooth.
Then, I add egg and vanilla extract into the mix and mix them even more.
Then, I add the rest of the dry ingredients (baking soda and flour) and blend them in to form a dough.
I replace the chocolate chunks on the recipe with chocolate chip and add it to the dough.
To make the dough into the shape of a cookie, I roll a spoonful of the dough into a ball with my palms. The dough is enough to make 2 batches, nine on each. I place them in the oven under 350 °F for 15 minutes.
This is the result after it has cooled down:
I would give this a 9/10! It is a little overcooked, so after it cools down, it appears harder than it’s supposed to be. But with its crispy crust and chewiness, it was exactly the type of cookies that I love.
